The Board

The Board of VIHA is comprised of the President, the Vice President who is the VIHA Representative taking charge of business with other IH organizations in Asia, the Vice President who is the VIHA Representative taking charge of business with other International IH organizations, the Treasure, the Secretary and the Division Directors. The Board of Directors' duties:

  • Abide to the statutes and determine the Association's mission and purpose.
  • Comply with the duties and activities approved at the annual member meetings.
  • Ensure an orderly and effective transition of duties and management of change of the VIHA.
  • Monitor the Association's products, services and programs.
  • As feasible, conduct speaking engagements (both getting engagements & doing the actual speaking).
  • As needed, approving new members.
  • Enhance the Association's public image.
  • Serve as a Court of Appeal.
  • Make decisions in the best interest of the nonprofit corporation; not in his or her self-interest. (Legal "Duty of loyalty").
  • Determine the values to be promoted throughout the Association.
  • Review organization’s goals and Association's policies, strategy, vision, mission, and values statements.

The Board of Membership

The Board of Membership (BoM) consists of three Executive Members who are in charge of all aspects of membership including support of member register, member renew and other members’ interest. Contact the Board of Membership here if you have any further question

 

The Board of Membership's duties:

  • Lead charge of developing membership benefits
  • Lead charge of promoting new features of membership benefits so that members can have additional benefits
  • Lead charge of new members' registration
  • Lead charge of renewing members and other membership communication
  • Answer non-members and existing members’ requests

Board of  Training

The Board of Training (BoT) consists of three Executive Members who are in charge of all aspects of training including training material development, arrangement of training locally and internationally. Contact the Board of Training here if you have any further question

  • Lead charge of developing and reviewing training materials.
  • Lead charge of monitoring and updating the training materials.
  • Lead charge of organizing training events.
  • Work with international organizations for training
